This event took place on Saturday 6 May 2023. It was a scrumptious showcase of local produce from the Port Macquarie-Hastings area and a fundraiser for the annual Hastings Farm Gate Tour (June 10th-12th 2023).

Guests were treated to a welcome drink on arrival and alternating plates over a 3-course sit down meal, with each course featuring a paddock-to-plate explanation of key ingredients. The key ingredients featured came from host farmers from the Hastings Farm Gate Tour. The meal was prepared by the exceptional chefs from the kitchen of twotriplefour by Bills at Cassegrain’s Wine Barrel Room. Drinks were available from the bar as well as take away sales of two beverages specifically designed to support the Hastings Farm Gate Tour. Ingredients from Barbushco were used to produce a Lemon Myrtle pale ale brewed by Moore Beer and Davidson Plum infused bottles of gin distilled by Port Macquarie Distillery.

Music was provided by Matt Brooker as we enjoyed the company of others at our long tables. There were brief video presentations featuring some of the producers who provided their delicious local produce for the dinner.

It was an opportunity to not only eat fresh quality locally sourced fare, but also to know and support our regenerative agriculture industry.
