This flower farm grew from a desire to give back to those that could use some love and care, as well as to establish a thriving business that shares beauty through each bouquet.

Our Farm is situated on the beautiful Comboyne Plateau on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Our passion is in farming the most nutrient dense food possible without the use of chemicals, herbicides or pesticides. To do this we nurture the land itself through regenerative practices.

Be inspired to take up permaculture in your own backyard!
Visitors will learn about creating productive gardens and fruit orchards on small residential blocks,
along with other sustainability features.
A special feature this year will be the ecosystem pond which is currently under construction.

Katwin is an enthusiastic cook and advocate for wholefood cooking using locally farmed ingredients. She regularly shares yummy recipes at The Real Food Market and in workshops hosted by the Mid North Coast Library. In her cooking demonstrations, Katwin shares tips for quick, easy and delicious dishes using seasonal produce and chats about all things health related - human and environmental!

Chef2Farmer
Our aim is to farm with a deep respect to animals. The pasture raised hens, pigs and cattle live on the freshest pasture, in their natural environments, foraging, digging, scratching and grazing all day every day, full of sunshine and vitamin D.
Lake Cathie Community Hub
& Garden
Experience a small scale community garden run by volunteers in association with the
Hastings Neighbourhood Service. We have a thriving compost and worm farm, bush tucker garden and raised fruit and veg gardens.
Pasture View, Long Flat
Wayne & Donna use regenerative agriculture principles on their 50 acre (20 Ha) property is nestled in the Hastings Valley - bounded by the Oxley Highway and the Hastings River. They farm beef cattle, chickens, bees, pastured silage and grow vegetables and fish through their unique aquaculture system.
Beachside Bunches
Beachside Bunches is an urban mico flower farm on a typical suburban Port Macquarie block of 570 square metres.
Flowers are grown without chemicals using regenerative practices and bunches are sold through a street stall.
Bush Tucker Babies
We have recently moved to the area. While situated on queens lake surround by the beautiful viewsof the water and bush. We are in the process of building our glasshouses, garden beds, planting our native herbs andvegetables.
This year you can find us at the Lake Cathie Community Hub Garden.

Urban Permaculture Landscapes
Would you like to transform your grass into a patch where you can grow food to feed your family?
On this typical domestic sized, hilly Port Macquarie block there are over 100 fruit varieties to spot.
We have veggie patches, chickens, worm farming, native bees, ponds, espalier fruit trees, a bush tucker garden and a bonsai display, all designed using permaculture principles.
Old Fig Farm
This farm is the realisation of a long held family dream to live in the country, farm regeneratively, incorporate lots of animals in positive ways and create amazing products.
Farming regeneratively means that we incorporate clever management of animals and biodiversity and avoid chemicals so that we build super healthy soils and encourage life, nourishing animals and humans, sequestering carbon from the atmosphere, and making the land we are custodians of stronger and more resilient.
The Davis Farm
The Davis Farm is a not-for-profit that supports our local community.
Focused on mental health we offer a community space to learn, connect, belong and grow.
Island Biologicals
Join pro worm wrangler Lee Fieldhouse to take a look beneath the soil surface and get up closeand personal with the critters who bring it to life! Lee will take you through how to do an earthworm count, and share what it means for the health of your soil and plants. This hands on workshop will be fun and informative for the whole family.
Lee will be presenting a "paddock chat" at Old Fig Farm.
Douglas Vale
Historic Homestead & Vineyard
Established in 1859, Douglas Vale is the oldest vineyard and timber homestead museum in Port Macquarie.
A working vineyard with an orchard, and cottage, veggie, pineapple & pond gardens. Douglas Vale is Australia's only vineyard wholly run by a passionate volunteers.
Friends of Mrs York's Garden
Friends of Mrs.York's Garden(FMYG) is a 5-acre public reserve, showcasing native gardens and bushland overlooking the Hastings River and surrounding coastline. Sharing stories about the early history of the garden created originally in the 1960’s by Amy Bertha York and the ten years of revitalising the gardens by Friends of Mrs York’s Garden since 2015.
Comboyne Farm Store
Family run small business in the beautiful town of Comboyne. Farm supplies & farm inspired homewares & gifts.
The owners are supporters of our Hastings Farm Gate Tour and are also regenerative agriculture farmers.
OzFish Unlimited
OzFish Unlimited is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping the millions of Aussie recreational fishers take control of the health of their rivers, lakes & estuaries and shore up the future of the sport they love. We partner with fishers and the broader community to invest time and money into the protection & restoration of our waterways, counteracting decades of degradation.
